I'll put this one in - the main screen isn't interactive - but, what it does show - as do many of the original photographs is that the country was as beautiful as it is right now - today - there's grain crops everywhere - the place is stunningly beautiful - then, of course, they blew it to bits - as we do.
Now - I'll throw things out of wack a bit here - by showing a vid of the new Australian Memorial at Le Hamel - but, why I do this is - just look at the crops -- this place grows things like magic - fields of grains - and, some cheeky flowers as well - the country looked the same before the battles in WW 1 - you see some of it in the original shots before the battle.
