@W0mb@t I still make gravy from drippings, flour, water and a teaspoon of Vegemite.
Same with white sauce(or cheese sauce) with corned beef. Butter, flour, salt and milk (cheese with cheese sauce)
Gotta thank my mother for them. As bad as she was a cook (had no time sense what so ever) she is great with casseroles that you can bring all the ingredients together and then reheat.
If you got her to cook steak with mash spuds, steams broc/cauli and side of peas. The steak would be burnt the peas turned to mush, spuds would be perfect broc/cauli would be crunchy. She is a kinda cook that turned everything on all at the same time and all come off at the same time with no sense on how long everything takes. Hence why Dad had the cooking duties in the house.
