what is so wrong with being the "worlds largest indebted nation" - they have held this status for decades, about the same time as the doomsayers have called for the end of USA.
All they have done is used other peoples (cheap) money to fund their growth and increase their wealth, much the same as any company does.
Just think of it as negative gearing.
