Ajjax in answere to the second part of your question , i think management have learned a lot from the past experience especially in respect to focus on acheivable outcomes, in the past there were just too many irons in the fire for such a small company, small budget small team etc, today they are pursuing one winner with an excellent chance of success.
A wise investor once said for a company to succeed they need , One , Proof of concept , i think they have this in the bag,but further testing needs to take place in USA . Two , Ability to scale , i think once the US trials are successful that ability will materialise through a joint venture or buy out by a much bigger player.
