The price at the peak in 2014 was totally based on hype around the Vaccine and professor Frazer . Heaps of media attention and Hot Copper hype. This didn't last long.
After underwhelming results, multiple cap raises and and excessive cash burn it turned to ADAPT for the hype which dragged on for a few more years as just a heart patch and monthly having hospital numbers keeping the story alive.
Lack of sales resulted in 'Code red' and the 'Choo Choo train' as another life line to keep shareholders around but that saw SP go south for years to come. Not even our saviour 'The Saint' could turn it around. The selling of the hospital supply contract and vaccine business going into administration resulted in all the focus going into the 3D valve and now catheter story.
This run over the last month has probably been the longest without a cap raise pull back that I can remember since around $140 (14c). Heaps of cheap money floating around in the US surely this is a no brainer for a major med tech to buy out. a few hundred million is nothing to them.
Giddy up
