Hi Davisite
Yes they do BUT
I believe in small government
I believe in allowing the people freedom to go their own way
BUT it is the government's responsibility to set the framework and the conditions under which people can go forward
We have in Australia a bureaucratic small minded control over everything we do and at the same time a government which encouraged everyone to live for today and to hell with tomorrow
So people do spend all they get and they need to as costs are so high with everything compared to overseas prices
Therefore the jobs and wages that we have are wasted, we are no different to the poor people of every second rate country except on a higher level
The constant message is --- BUY BUY BUY
We can see some of the new arrivals who ignore the laws regarding tax, labor laws, conditions, and standards and guess what, they are doing very well thank you very much
But the average Australian is not yet ready to tell the bureaucrats to go to hell , but the time may come
Anyone who has any sort of business knows of the inordinate volume of unnecessary and unused red tape that drains the profits
