Deep Learning auto annotation is complete as far as I know. But when Fortune 500 is still undecided whether to go on-premise or the cloud for data security reasons and other security reasons it is unfortunately a waiting game.
Appen can only manage what's in their control. There is not going to be a great deal of change over the next 12 months in A.I as the breakthroughs we see today is essentially the services Appen sold in 2020/2021. So to cut back on engineering teams for 18 months until revenue environment improves makes sense to me. As transition takes place with Enterpise instead.
What I want to see in FY24 is the complete transformation of Big tech from Deep Learning to Generative A.I services. i.e., from Bias Judgments to Fine Tuning and Evaluation.
One of Appens customers 30% of total revenue is in Gen A.I and this trend needs to continue in 2024. For me this is a huge KPI.

At the end of the day it needs to be > US$300m revenue and
