No one knows what will happen in future. My guess is Appen will recieve either a strategic investment or offload Deep learning and raise cash.. how much is Deep Learning worth...
I value China business $250-300m and Deep Learning with Crowd ~$500m
Strip costs out of Deep learning synergise with current operations and you have a $50-60m EBITDA business 2x sales would be ~US$400m. Deep Learning is not cutting edge like Gen A.I but can for sure grow into Gen A.I from Deep Learning.
