The situation in South Africa gets worse by the day.
It only gets worse in South Africa. Eskom went to stage 4 loadshedding (the most severe) today from stage 2, saying the power system is seriously constained. The stage 4 loadshedding is expected to persist through the weekend. Unplanned breakdown amount to 11,300 MW adding to the 5,045 MW currently out on planned maintenance.
