That’s a good sign for me when more and more shares are held by the T20. It’s a cornering operation that is now underfoot. A cornered situation is when more and more shares are held by fewer and fewer players. The faster we get to 80% the better.

When the deals come, and news flow develops, followed by earnings, the invisible hand just needs to move the 20% free float like a couple of ping pong players. The rise of value of the 20% will determine the value for the rest of the 80% of shares.

What is the objective of the exercise? Once the shares are cornered, it’s much easier to move the value up. Once Invisible Hand moves the stock price high enough, I just need to sell a small portion to make the rest free carry. Illustration, if my cost of holdings is 10c, and the stock moves to $1.00. All I need to sell is 10% at $1.00 and the rest of my portfolio is free. That is the purpose of the game.

The decentralised model of waste water treatment is the new way moving forward. It’s cheaper for town planners and developers. It lowers capex and opex.

But these trends take time to develop. Only enterprising town planners, regulators and developers must work together to accelerate the trend. Thankfully the needle is moving. Not only in China, but other emerging countries who has seen China’s way of developing modern townships.
