It has been a very quiet period in relation to newsflow. Once the newsflow picks up in this current gold climate then things will really re rate imo. Crossing that 60c (the old 6c resistance zone) is next obstacle but it should be hit as long as exploration news comes back above expectations. $1 should easily be passed once the DFS drops next year Imo.
Right now with these little moves off the lows, we are just seeing clever investors and bargain hunters arrive. The big gains will come as things are de risked after the DFS, or if a large player gets involved in the registry. This would wake the market up to a potential takeover. A similar thing happened to PDI recently. They had PRU get on board with a 17% holding and the speculation started up in relation to M&A.
