As some have mentioned in here, if the x director has a plan, I think it’s a losing battle. Even if he’s consistently selling his shares and trying to drag down the price to a bargain bid level, he will still need serious backing from at least 3 of the largest shareholders on the register and that will be hard to do. Even if that succeeds, they would then need to hope no rival company like Capricorn doesn’t up the bid. This is inevitable, 4moz in WA gold heartland will be the talk of the town once it’s open on the takeover table. Whether it’s Capricorn or another mid to large cap company wanting to shore up future ounces, there’s no way the x directors plan of a low ball takeover will succeed. The current market won’t let it happen!

The x director would be better suited to wait for a gold downturn, but they aren’t stupid, they know that’s not happening in the current global economic situation. It’s only going to go from strength to strength. Plus time is against them, finalising the property transactions, dfs and project financing are all likely to take place in 2024 and de risks the company significantly. The share price is destined to re rate at some point!

And Mr x director could just be doing the ground work for another entity, with the promise of a seat and a shiteload more renumeration / perfomance shares gor doing sweet fa. Who knows.
An offer of 10c a share looks a whole lot better from here than from 6c or 8c. And 200M is a steal.
