Yeah have a look at IAM a few months ago. Basically they said that they were in talks with NAB and so shareholders took it upon themselves to email and call up NAB for confirmation of any deals being signed with IAM.
It was extremely embarrassing for IAM, who had to field calls from NAB asking why shareholders from IAM were calling up their head office. After that, deals had to be confidential, and well, look at the sp today.
Considering the minister probably doesn't even speak English (French only), I doubt shareholder activism would bring any positive change. More than likely they will confuse your communications and McKay will have to field embarrassing calls from the minister.
Not a smart idea.
