Given Starr had some 6m odd shares back then, assuming some others have been accumulating over the past few months he might not even be in the top 20. How the directors holdings move in times like these is a reflection of sentiment especially given the sparse news. Would have expected the CEO to be madly buying up at these levels especially since there are no announcements of worth and as such no blackout rules applying. Maybe they don't have the confidence either, but it's all fine to prompt smaller holders to either sit right or get in at the cheap prices. Maybe the next Ann will be with regard to changes in director interest? They could arrange an internal company loan and buy the shares at market rates instead of issuing more and diluting the rest and given the future optimism previously stated, freeze their salaries and bonuses in lieu of any interest payable. It's all good to say management is doing a wonderful job, but many of us are waiting and the results in terms of the share price and announcements are very poor. As for exploring crater for the mountain of gold - that what they've been doing for the past few years and that's where a heap of the funds have gone.
