Something I want shareholders to be aware of, some I think have already joined the dots.
This is not a conspiracy theory but it is a scenario that will become fact if Empire's ill thought out resolutions are voted through.
Should that happen this coming AGM will the last AGM where shareholders have any say into how Empire's board manages the company.
If any of you have followed the trading patterns over the last 6 months or so you will have noticed the number of cross trades occurring that bit by bit amounted to a very large accumulation of shares for someone at very cheap prices in the 0.005 to 0.004 range.
That accumulation of shares will vote as one to whatever Empire's board puts to the vote. That accumulation of shares will mean your vote will count for nothing.
The consolidation proposed by the board will not matter to them, they will already have their percentage of the company and they will not be marking time like we shareholders have for years. They have no interest in Empire nor for what will happen to the retail shareholders like you and me. They want to make a killing and they will do it. Post consolidation they will raise the SP to around 80c or 90c making a 100% on their investment, no sweat because they have done it before. Need I remind you who did something like that a couple of years ago and what then happened to Empire's SP and the value of your investment.
This crowd won't hang around. No, the rest of us left behind will need to wonder how the company will repay ERM.
There will only be one way open for Empire as no financial institution will touch the company with a barge pole.
The board has already made provision for that in one of the resolutions they want you to pass and there goes the value of your investment again as you will not be invited to participate in the CR.
I honestly hope the scenario described will not happen and it won't happpen if you support what docmin24@gmail is doing.
Docmin is an honest person, a hard worker and like digger57 he is a top 20 shareholder, he saw the writing on the wall for Empire long before most of us. He does not want another 249d all he wants is for the ordinary shareholder to get something out of their investment.
I am not a top 20 shareholder but my investment is such that I do not want to lose the value of my modest investment. These resolutions will surely do that if they are voted in.
I will be voting NO to all resolutions with the exception of Resolution 5.
I will be voting YES for Kent Quinlan.
