Invertedva, it depends on the individual broker. If the broker uses seperate HIN Numbers for each client, stock will be in the client's name. If the broker uses pooled HINs such as with a wrap product or custody arrangement, the stock will appear in the broker's name.
I am not sure what arrangement Commsec uses for their clients. Perhaps someone that uses Commsec could tell us?
