    Hi Wary,

    A couple of comments/info:

    Re top20 list/register:
"It seems we just have to wait until the annual reports (unless we want to pay a substantial fee to the share registry)"

It was identified a while ago here that the register can be viewed at the share registry (Computershare), by any shareholder, at no cost. Yes, if you want them to send you a copy, it costs, as per the relevant Act, but it can be viewed for free, in person at Computershare. IIRC clivemax (or at least someone else here) reported that they had found that this could be done at another Computershare office (Melb/Syd?), i.e. it apparently didn't have to be the Perth office, and could be any office? I'm not sure. Not "easy", but if you want to see it, for free, "whenever", it is indeed possible.

    More importantly -
    Re CS holding:
"Credit Suisse has acquired a substantial shareholding. This has to be right doesn't it, given that they are on the list of substantial shareholders? But I wonder how this could be possibly be? How could they have acquired that many shares without the share price going up? And if they do own them, why was there no notice of significant shareholding released to the ASX? Hopefully someone on HC can explain what is going on here"

AFAIK they have notified the market, and the reason that the large accumulation hasn't pushed the price is because the shares (all/most?) have been borrowed under securities lending agreements, not purchased on market. There are some "transfers" listed also, but I'm not sure exactly what they are.
The transactions and details can all be found in these substantial holder notices:

    Hope that helps
    Cheers
