This is probably a silly question, but I have never really looked into this before.

So we all know that "Market Manipulation" is not legal.

Is "capping" considered to be "Market Manipulation", and is it therefore illegal also.

Honest question - I have never really looked into this before.

My thoughts are (and I don't really know) - It would depend if they are buying, converting notes etc. while this cap is in place (or soon after).
