Glenda and David must be horrified with the negotiating skills of Mel management. There should have been a 1 in front of the offer.
Still can not believe that the State Govt caved in to the anti-fossil fuel activists scaremongering campaign, especially as they were saying that they support the gas industry. Science and facts took a backseat to noisy, fanatical, irrational people. They made the locals turn on Mel, who did everything by the book. The more the activists got stronger in the NR region, the more the Govt kept shifting the goalposts. The State Govt is to blame for this now unfortunate outcome.
