Why can't u be content that finally your in the money - thats if your even short which i have always doubted

I know for a fact your not an investor - who in there right mind would buy stock just to lend out with a view that the stock price is going to fall - are you for real !! So they get paid .5 to 5% per annum for loaning stock but would be happy to rip up capital.
I have NEVER heard of an investor buying stock with a view that the share price will fall
