I have compared the top 20 as at 31.07.08 with the top 20 as at per the 2007 annual report
Interesting changes
The following had approx 190m shares as at 30.06.2007 and now have 58.4m. Expressed as a percentage they had 77% and now have 19%
ANZ Nominees
Paldar Nominees
R C Johnson
Jackson Street
Caracob
In 12 months the above have sold down 130m shares, no wonder the share price is where it is now.
The ANZ holding was probably associated with Opes
On the plus side the top 20 held 86.66% as at 30.06.07 and now the top 20 holds 46.07%
An interesting addition is RBC Dexia who now own 10m shares or 3.26% My understanding is that this is an institutional holding.
Providing that ESI does not run out of funds things are looking good for the future. The only negative is the continual Paldar Nominees overhang, shorly he can not be in that much financial poo.
