I have just been looking at the top 20 shareholders as at 30 November 2008. This list includes Citicorp Nominees, ANZ Nominees, J P Morgan Nominees, National Nominees.

Does anyone know if these companies are still major shareholders? I have not been able to find any cesation of major shareholders' notices with ASX.

These kind of companies have the resources to start legal proceedings if they think it is to their financial benefit. It's kind of good to know that it's not just the mum and dad investors caught up in this crap.

Just a glimer of hope but maybe they are also in the position to negotiate a capital injection of some sort with the administrators. Like the rest of use they would not want to be walking away from an essentially excellent resource.
