movements in holdings between 4/6 and 8/6 ....

Net buying by the top 20 to the tune of 2.45M

Citicorp up 700K
Minsk up another 400K, as is HSBC Noms (no 1 holder).

Now, the interesting thing is that ANZ Noms dropped 13.73M yet National Noms bought 15M. The reason for my interest in this is that these two holdings seem to be working in tandem - the majority of the time, one sells, the other buys (ANZ to National) ... same person switching between holdings? distribution to another holder? who knows .....

BUT, what I should highlight is that these two accounts held circa 160M shares back in Jan 06. They now hold 176M. The reason why I go back to Jan 06 is that this was the time the holdings were shuffled and Lundin put its holding with Westpac Noms and a couple other major holders followed suit.

IMO it has been slowly accumulated since then (by the top 10) .... the in/out activity between ANZ/National over the past few months smells of something - just need to find out what!
