Hi folks
Thanks Pelm1
That looks like a fairly aggressive move (HSBC) Explains (for me at least) the bot activity and increasing volumes in recent times.
One of my concerns was..and is..these 'investor groups' buying and selling to each other and manipulating the share price.
Whether thats being cynical or paranoid so be it. Its clear these parties have clear motives to secure larger positions.
Do they want to make a move on the company at a later...or even 'earlier' stage for example?
An interesting article in the Australian re BRM this week re their takeover and Wah Nam Capital...worth a read.
Opportunistic 'overseas' interests punching above their weight perhaps....or genuinely large investors with very clear intentions and the capacity to follow through?
Or just opportunistic traders looking for trading opportunities?
What is going for PLV is the JTC and their "deep pockets"
Smallish groups of investors would find it hard to compete with them you would think....not to mention Cliffs.
One thing is for sure, things are heating up and time is running short before the big developments.
