I have not had much time for Hot Copper these days being busy on other matters so have only caught up on some of the posts.
The most important matter for us as CuDeco shareholders is, as you point out, the production and sales of native copper and direct shipping ore and that should not be far off with ore on the stockpiles awaiting processing.
As each day passes, completion of the construction of the processing plant draws closer helped by favourable weather conditions.
As for the possibility of a Chinese takeover, [IF it were to occur ]there is and always has been ,the possibility of takeover by any number of suitors.
There is no point in speculating on that .It may happen or it may never happen.
Wayne McCrae is one shrewd operator , has a large personal interest in the company and the possibility of a party or parties making a takeover offer would have been one of his considerations when organising finance.
The present situation of involvement with various Chinese groups does not concern me for without them CuDeco would not be the company it is today, would have remained a want to be, would not be about to sell product and pay dividends.
