I did this recently as a matter of intrest and instantly found one of the HC posters on this thread. But don't worry, no stalking or sinister intent, just idle time filling for interest sake.
The short answer is, its not all that hard to find out if someone is genuine because many use versions of their real name or reveal details about themselves or their interests that identifies them.
I am a case in point as its not hard to guess what 'gusrox' is and yes, I am another in the top 20 only its the top 20,000 as Damien suggests...LOL
As a number have said, take on board all comments but DYOR as all decisions you make are yours and only yours.
