rupert, completely agree - i think that the chairman has the discretion that the resolution will be done on a show of hands too... on the day that is - so even if them two vote it down, in theory the more people turn up to vote (or proxy if you cant) for the resolution the better.
apathy could hand to those that would destroy it for the rest of us the company again.
i think and hope that the fact they have sold it down will play against them - less voting power.
we must vote for the resolution.
