    Mango,

"At the moment it would be hard to find many companies where directors are creating shareholder value."

That is very cynical of you.

"Ken Severs and his wife have 1,744,902 ordinary shares purchased at much, much higher prices than the present."

It has always worried me that the Directors and staff of INL have never really embraced significant shareholdings in INL compared with Directors of other companies. My holdings in INL is nearly comparable with some of the Directors. In comparison, my holdings in other companies is normally only a fraction of the holding the Directors of those companies hold.

    Future Fund

I thought I would mention the future fund as a possible source of finance in case PW or DS read any of these threads:

"The Future Fund has hired three people to work in a separate private equity division to assess opportunities. It has allocated more than 2 per cent of its $50 billion fund to private equity."

You would think a government $30M loan to create a new environmental friendly industry in the Newcastle region would be dollars much better spent (or should I say loaned) compared to the recent Billions given out in tax cuts/social security bonuses to be spent on anything the individual wanted to spend it on eg. pokies, TV, alcohol etc.
