With regard to your other questions:

Substantial Holder- Socius last notice on the asx (that I could find ) was dated 15/11/11 when they declared a holding of 31m shares or 8.37%.

My Mums and Dads comment was purely a descriptive way of describing the state of the companys register ie it is very open, no real major holder or cornerstone investor, hence CCC certainly appears to be owned largely by retail investors.
