Let's hope they are not the same analysts who were quoted on this thread twelve months ago.
January 2015:
"UBS reiterates GEM as a buy, target price $7.95."
"Thomson/Reuters consensus of 11 brokers $6.13. But UBS provides sound advice about avoiding speculation on gov't policy decisions and paying attention to core drivers of GEM's long term growth."
To trivialise the effect that changes to government policy have on childcare is irresponsible. January 2016 saw the implementation of the new ratio changes. IMO these changes will prove to be costly to all centres.
It seems that Citi analysts with their downgrade to $4.20 reported by @seamisty in January last year were closer to the mark.
