Well, looking at the share price action, you can't beat a manipulator / accumulator. they have the computer programs behind them which have a lot of analysis smarts to know when to sell and buy and influence it.

I have a friend who was part of a very extensive trading program built for one of the big banks. They spent years on it and very compartmentalized so not many would have an overall picture of what the parameters / emotion trading etc were involved. He mentioned that the bank was making as if that was the 'mother of all trading'.
