I was determine to get a front loader when I had top loader that didn't wash all that well.
I got an electrolux that had a refresh function you could use for dry clean only items, put it to the test with a cashmere jacket that badly needed a clean. Came out pretty good after one cycle and it was spot on after a second cycle. Have since put a lot of other dry clean only items though it and what I have saved on dry cleaning more than paid for the machine.
