I was going to add sp that Mugabe is a close ally and friend of Kabila.Also one of the interviewees,a doctor who also runs his own political party,is hopeful for the country but not very optimistic as most of the people behind the current government and those that will inevitably be involved in the new government to some degree are known to be on the take.I suppose its how the countries run for the last half a decade,and another corrupt entrenched bureacracy that will have to be levered out at some stage.Trouble is these are the guys that OK'd avls current licences and tenaments.So what happens if these guys are outed and a new government decides to employ there own mining legislation.Not a good move if they wish to encourage more mininginvestment in the DRC.Wierder things have happened in this world though.

This only becomes a worry if avl have to rely on Dikulushi for longer than a few more years.Hopefully with stage II up and running they'll extract the maximum returns from Dikulushi and in the meantime find something a little less riskier.
