The price is getting manipulated both ways. There are small uptick and small down tick orders.
When the price was falling the first time from $3 to $2 and then from $4 back to $3 there were only small down tick orders going through.
They do this to create urgency in worried sellers or buyers. If you see a price falling or rising it is human nature is to chase.
