Interest grows in Top Ryde City
The Beville Group's partial redevelopment of the Top Ryde City shopping centre is proceeding at a rapid rate, with leasing inquiries said to be strong for the new stage. But the facility's ownership structure is due to change, with GPT said to be the front runner for the retail aspect of the centre, which is half-owned by the Beville Group and valued at about $700 million. Valad also has a share and has been looking to sell, with Lend Lease's unlisted retail fund said to be one interested party. Mirvac has a put option on the residential area but it's also an opportunity that would attract Stockland.
