dave, one of the professional private forecasters who focuses on different indicators to the BOM, and has a demonstrateable accuracy of 80%, is forecasting otherwise. He also forecast the beginning of the just past el-nino fully five months ahead of BOM, and similarily for it's ending, so he does have a proven track record. he charges over $600 per year for his forecasts, and one thing is certain, those people, mostly farmers, are not renowned for buying something that doesn't deliver the goods.
