    Hi ricky_banker,

You certainly haven't been out looking for Easter eggs, your doing what I suspect alot of GMV share holders are doing and that's going back over old announcements. Suddenly we have become interesting again and prospective buyers are doing their own due diligence, hence you digging up recent announcements.

With regard to how long you hold stocks IMO, rule of thumb is follows:

Short term - 1 day (day traders) to 12 mths. Less than 12mths you have to account for capital gains. Capital gains you have to declare 100% of all profits held less then 12mths.

Medium term - 1yr - 3yrs Capital gains take effect after 12ths and any shares sold attract 50% on all profits.

Long term - 3yrs and more As above

Obvisously it depends if it is a start up company, a well established company or a blue chip company. Any company that your potentially going to buy, you must DYOR and never commit more than you can afford.

    Cheers Rubes
