Every cloaing auction there appears a large order to buy that has the initial impact of raising the averaging price.
It is never there when the final bell is rung.
It is obviously there to illicit a reaction but I am not quite sure what is expected.
Maybe it is just there to see exactly what the reaction would be if there was a big buy order ie will more sellers appear or more buyers?
Maybe, based on this reaction, there is a strategy developed for the following days trading.
And note there was a lot of pulling of orders after the final close.
This is not to say these orders will not be added to the queues tomorrow morning but as selling during the day into 19 was very weak, there wasn't a great deal of interest at 19.5 later in the day, and, as far as I can tell, the large sellers at 19.5 seem to be part of only the large players orders, I think Hairy may be right.
If the markets are solid tonight, then we may see another pump soon.
