the more I see of this - the more that there could be far more to it
this could be the work of a simple control freak
but, IMO - we need a major security investigation into this 'simple control person' --- it may well not be as simple as it looks. We are talking about national security here. He took over the ministry that is charged with the responsibility for national security - AND, he kept it secret from pretty much everyone - including ASIO and the like
surely that justifies a very solid enquiry - not by legal beavers about whether it was legal or not - but, by security people to sniff out if there was more to it than there's been exposed publicly so far
his reasons stack up as total bullshit - so either he's a total fool - or else, there's more to it
