Kevin, whilst I am not supporting the notion the NKP is to be wary of Xstrata, and appreciate that your comments on wiki - I just had a thought.
EVERYTHING that is written, is written by someone, who may have an agenda - company releases, media statements, media reports and wiki - nothing escapes this... I find that wiki came sometimes be pretty accurate, simply because anyone can write, andyone can edit etc, so it tends to be a collection of hundreds of peoples ideas and thoughts synthesised and edited into an article..if you want to see a good example look up articles on wiki relating to scientology - perhaps that most edited and amended pieces of writing in histroy as the pro and anti-scientology camps make their own statements ...
On another tact - what business transaction would a company like NKP enter WITHOUT being careful... honestly, business and business and (Despite some people being a little more scrupulous than others) everyone is out to look after their own interests.... I'm sure mgmt at NKP are aware that bringing on a partner like xstrata has some pro's and con's and have weighed all this up.... to suggest that they need to be 'careful' in business dealings is sort of stating the obvious, IMHO! Honestly, what company enters into a billion dollar option/deal without being 'careful'!?!?!?!

I thought 'Rio Tinto' and 'Google' were odd names ....they seemed to have managed OK!?!??!
