It doesn't have to fill per se, but the closer the SP gets to the gap the more likely it becomes a magnet imo.
A less than impressive DFS could well and truly fill the gap.
As for following the Nickel Price, correlation between CTM v Nickel Price starting back from early 2022, it seems there was strong correlation for most of that time, but correlation has weakened since around Nov 2022.
If you want me to use different dates comparison purposes, let me know. I've not tried to skew the dates here to suit my response...
This correlation result could even be viewed as the end of year report card for management.
