Wonder if that's the (oft-mentioned here) newsletter I subscribed to for a trial month and dropped. With the subscription came access to the back issues in the archives. "Buy up to" prices would change in the summary table without any explanation in the narrative (not even pointing it out). You'd look back and scratch your head and try to figure out when it changed. Or why. Sometimes, figures would just be completely mixed up and corrected in hasty emails days later. Or not. I guess what I'm saying is, if any number of people are blindly following these things, they could easily be mixed up as hell about what they are "meant" to be doing.
