Research is the key to success – I am not for one moment underestimating the potential that Liberia offers.
There is a long history of alluvial gold mining within Liberia, but there has been very little production from modern, large-scale mining operations. Systematic exploration for gold within Liberia commenced only relatively recently, and the gold industry is developing rapidly.
Liberian based West African Geoservices have been working for BGS since early February this year, in this time period it would be a reasonable assumption to assume they would have a handle on this. I also notice Hummingbird employed their services for exploration and mapping to include RC drill management. I wonder if they were responsible for the discovery of the The Dugbe Project (Hummingbird Resources)..anybody know?
We have dispatched a large number of samples to an independent laboratory with analytical results expected over coming weeks.
I think we will be seeing some interesting drill targets before the end of this month.
