If that was your impression of my post I am sorry I did not mean that in any way
My point was that the politicians and leaders were all responsible for everything that happened
None of them were innocent and many of the actions taken by both sides extended the war and they did so not for our benefit by their own
As such I still hark back to the best way to fight wars is for our leaders to be in the front line, as there used to say in the cowboy and Indians fights === kill the guy with all the feathers and then we all can go home .
Also when a problem develops it is the people at the top who cause it so just send in a hit squad and eliminate them and the problem is gone, as no soldiers or the general population want to be in a war, but when it happens there are no rules except on paper
