PS about the shorts, I read on one of the free mailers I get that it was the most heavily shorted stock on the ASX not that long ago, so if that happens again (as it tends to when guidance is missed, even by a small amount) look for the short covering bounce.
Also if you short a stock and hold it through ex div you have to cover the div I believe? so that in itself encourages closing out of the short positions and tends to encourage a healthy bounce.
