Why be surprised when management get bent over the desk and give the broker's buddies heaps of shares discounted to less than 17c (via a 1:2 free 10c option). And that was within days of the abject failure of management to manage to keep the AAOO options enough in the money to be supported and exercised.

Too many free or next-to-free 10c options held by the decision makers in this company.

All we need now is CNOOC to down tools/go slow and this mob will be needing more money raised at even lower levels. You will recall that CNOOC had an option to take up 20% of the company at 31.5c, but the announcement that the option had "expired" was curiously delayed until after the AAOO expiry date, ensuring some dummies (me included) sent off thier doomed exercise cheques.
