Hi Alimak,
Pretty good Sirtex AGM report out and the future looks quite rosie. I have been out of SRX for a fair while but keep a close eye. The 1st qtr report was good enough for me and had to get back in even though I had to reluctantly sell some NAL.
I have only had a friendly go at topper in jest as he/she is rather repetitive, however one thing is for certain. And that is regardless of fundamentals or a broker upgrade, Sirtex will gap up significantly when the trigger is pulled. Would not bet my life on a takeover offer in the next 12 months but if sales and profit momentum continues over the next few quarters then it is certainly on the cards.
Even without the blue sky of a take-over offer I believe shareholders should be rewarded with solid capital appreciation due to institutional buying combined with ultra small float. Small dividend is not out of the equation come end of financial year.
