Next you're gonna tell me Germany is now pro-nuclear and loves uranium mining. Some jurisdictions, because, of political and ideological bent, don't change their stripes.

You are wrong on WA Labour. We ura investors live in a bubble, in uranium social media. We think everyone loves uranium and sees the world the way we do. When, in fact, 99% of voters, ordinary folk, don't even know anything about it, and at best, don't care. Most, sadly, have a visceral, negative view of both nuclear power and uranium mining, it's the "radioactive" chernobyl and fukushima legacy. WA has been spoilt for power generation, we've never had an energy crisis, and most voters still think solar and wind renewables will save us from climate change. Most of all, no one knows or gives two figs about some obscure company called, Toro. No one cares. The average WA punter didn't cared about Vimy, if it succeeded or failed. And it was the best known. No one cared. In fact the green aliance, including labour party left faction members, are trying to stop it in the courts. And no one cares.

It's the ecact opposite of what you're saying. The facts are the exact opposite. McGowan wasn't kidding. You have the ecact words out of his mouth, and yet still, you refuse to believe it.

Electorally, there is only downside, personal embarrassment, and party faction headaches for him, to grant an extension. And there is zero upside, coz no one in WA has even heard of Toro...nor do they care. The average WA voter would rather watch the cricket or go fishing than read a mining journal. It's a no brainer politically. McGowan will check if legally he can cut Toro loose, if his lawyers say, 'yes', it's game over. McGowan was NOT kidding, when he made his statements 5yrs ago. He gave each company plenty of notice. Politically, he will have egg on his face and look weak, if he backs down now. All his lawyers have to do is point to Vimy, who made it happen! Face it, Toro management have stuffed up, this should never have been allowed to happen. Management had all the time in the world, just like Vimy. But, they chose to not develop it. Why?
