It is great the NZ coalition govt has told consumers not to panic and stockpile far better to wait a few weeks until there is plenty more people with corona and go the supermarkets then and wait in big lines with every one coughing on each other or self isolate and starve at home - I decided to panic 10 days ago and stocked up .
And as the news states it is only a more virile form of influenza , at around a 5% death rate that is 250,000 deaths in NZ or only about 22 times as many as the casualties NZ had in WW2 nothing really much to panic about is it ?
THe coalition govt is still allowing citizens and residents from Iran to come into NZ as long as they self isolate for a week , therefore that would mean that the houses they self isolate in will have kitchens and bathrooms solely to be used by the virus carrier .
I find that assumption a bit reckless .
The Coalition has been looking at ways of reducing the Pension as a % of the Governments costs , means testing and raising the age to receive the pension have been the most commonly proposed options , but now with Corona there is another option , and it will kick in alot quicker by keeping the boarders open to Corona positive countries .
Anybody who questions her will be considered xenophobic or racist of course , ie haters of Muslims , haters of Italians , haters of Pommies , but is it not genocide to allow infectious people in and have no way of preventing them spreading the disease apart from supposed self isolation .
Meanwhile NZ has military facilities that incoming travellers could be isolated in but are virtually empty ?
