I don’t think this is the scope of the auditors. The auditors take a point in time view of the accuracy of accounts, not what a company is going to be investing in for the future and their ability to fund that investment. Half the companies on the ASX wouldn’t pass an audit by your description.
Also calling IBX CRs successful is a stretch, I remember being involved in one years ago that was discounted and included free options and they still didn’t get full take-up.
